Trouble with certain feeds

I am new to HF, and so far it looks like exactly what I have been wanting.

There are two feeds in particular that I want and neither one seem to work.

http://www.japanesepod101.com/basic_feed/feed.xml

The woodworking feed loads the blog side instead of the feed side, so I just get the pdf titles and no access to the pdfs.

The Japanese one just doesn't load.  HF says it is invalid or not available.  It loads fine in Juice, Ziepod, iTunes (etc), but there are things about those progs that annoy me.

I tried your NPR radio feed just to make sure that I could load feeds, and it worked fine.

Sorry for the slow reply.  I've been out of town at DevConnections and am just now getting caught up.  I poked around at the woodworkingtips feed.  I think I understand what you're saying about it - you can subscribe, but the pdfs are not there as enclosures for downloading, right?  Can you post an example of one of the pdf links?  It may just be that they don't have the pdfs in the feed as enclosures.  As for the Japanese pod feed, it is protected with a login, which the current version of HF does not support.

I wasn't thinking about the login causing a problem for japanesepod.  Do you plan to do logins in the future?

The woodworking one is kinda working for me now.  I just didn't realize how badly formed the feed is.  You have to go thru a couple links to get to the info...  It doesn't seem possible to download it with any client.  I will have to talk with their site admin about that.

I love how HF works so far an plan to use it when possible.

Yes, the next version (which I've been trying to get out the door for going on a year) will support feeds that require logins.
