    Feed problem

    Hi,

I do not know if this a Happyfish problem or not but there is a feed that I'm having problems with that I have not had issues with before with other aggregators.  I keep getting a "Download interrupted" error.  I have tried to reload the

    Any help would be appreciated.

    BTW, Happy Fish is great!

    Frank,

I was able to subscribe and download an enclosure but it was slow.  It may be that the download is timing out if you're on a slow connection or if there is a lot of traffic on the host server.  Sorry I can't be more specific.

    Regards,

     Will,

Thanks for the reply.  I'll keep trying, perhaps over the weekend when it should be less crowded.  It is interesting though that I can dowload the mp3 file manually without difficulty but ...

    Hi Will,

Sorry to bring this one back up but I'm still's getting "Download interrupted" / "Download error" messages on this feed - : http://www.bloomberg.com/tvradio/podcast/ontheeconomy.xml .

It is odd as HF can see the feed and catalog the titles of all the different shows without problems.  I've also tested the dowloading by doing it directly and with a variety of other aggregators.  (Everything went fine.)

I hate to bug you with it but this is a key feed for me and I would really like to keep HappyFish.  (I've tested a number of other aggregators and you've built the best of the bunch.)

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Frank,

I'm sorry you're still having trouble.  My guess is that there is something about the way HF is downloading the file that the trget server doesn't like.  It could be the way HF idendifies itself or makes the file segment request.  HF asks for the file in chunks and sometimes target servers don't like that (that's an over simplification).  So basically I think it's something that is in the code that can't be changed without a new release.  I'll look carefully at this issue in working on the new version though to see if it can be resolved.  Again, sorry it's not working.

    Regards,

    Will
