Feed information
When you click on an item in the feed list information is about the feed is displayed in the embeded browser window including when you subscribed to the feed, the local
directory items are downloaded to, and when the next scheduled check will occur.
Checking for new items
To check for new feed items, right-click a feed in the list and choose "Check for
new items" or "Check all feeds".
Setting the download directory for a single feed or all feeds
To set the directory to which enclosures from a given feed
are downloaded, right-click
on a feed in the feed list and choose "Feed Settings". You will be presented
with several option categories for each feed. The General category allows
you to change the download directory for feed items. To change the download
directory for all feeds choose "Settings" from the Options menu. The "Downloading"
option category allows you to change the default download directory for all feeds.
Synchronizing files to a device
HappyFish can synchronize files to a device based on
several different critera that you can choose. After adding a device using the
Devices tab, choose the desired device from the Device menu on the
Synchronization tab. You have four choices:

All items.

Recent items - i.e. the most recent 5 items. You can choose the number of items.

Specific files you select from a givien feed.
To synchronize a feed's items with a device, drag that feed to the appropriate column in the
Synchronization window. Click the save icon to save your choices.
During synchronization you have the option of removing file
from your library that are deleted from your device. This is in case you're out
in the world listing to a program and it turns out to be a real stinker. If you
delete if from your device and choose this option HappyFish will know to delete
if from your library too - just like that.
Automatic synchronization of devices
To automatically synchronize a device that is configured to
work with HappyFish as soon as you attach it to you computer go to the Synchronization
tab and choose the device from the pulldown menu. Next click on the "Options" button (the little
gear icon) and choose "Preferences". In the dialog, check the box that says "Automatically synchronize
this device when it becomes available."
